Very Powerful Basic Muay Thai Dallas Combos

Muay Thai is known as the science of eight limbs because one uses every part of his body imaginable to cause damage. For instance, one can use elbows along with punches in order to knock out an opponent in two devastating blows. If one happens to be interested in this mighty art, then here are a few muay thai dallas techniques to know.

As mentioned above, the combat practitioners have eight quote and unquote, limbs that they can make use of in order to fight. The reason why muay thai is such a deadly sport is because there are so many possible moves that one can do. At least one of these moves, if executed properly, will surprise the opponent, leaving him to have an opening for a hit.

First of all, one would usually start by learning the punches. Just like the boxing punches, one will be learning the usual jab, cross, uppercut, and the swing punch. The most basic combination that one would learn when it comes to punching would be the one two punch which involves a jab and a cross.

Yet another combo that one will learn after that would be the uppercut hook combo. It is another one two combo wherein one does an uppercut with the front hand and a hook with the back hand. If one would want, he can also do two uppercuts for both left and right then follow it up with a hook.

Aside from the punches, another thing that one will learn would be the elbow strikes. The elbow strikes that one will learn are the upward, downward, and sideway elbow strikes. One can use them in combination with a jab in which the jab goes first followed by any of the elbow strikes. After that, one will also learn a one two elbow strike move wherein the front hand hits first then the back hand.

After that, one will then learn the roundhouse kick which either hits the gut, the head, or the legs, depending on where one wants to strike. A combo that can be done with kicks is either a one two kick wherein he will kick with his front leg first then the hind leg. Another combo would be a one two punch then a hind leg kick.

Lastly, one will then learn the knees to be added into the combo. Knees either go with kicking combos or punching combos. For kicking combos, one can do a one two kick first to be followed by a knee with the back leg. He can also do a one two punch followed by a knee with the back leg. One can even just go straight for a knee with the front leg then another knee with the back leg.

These are some of the very basic but very effective combos from this sport. If one would want to have a barrage of attacks, one has to perfect the combos mentioned above. Once one perfects all the moves and basic combos, he can further combine them to make a string of deadly moves.
