For some men and women, they engage in angling because they need the supplies, while some do it as a hobby.

While this mainly depends on your present location, a vast majority of them can be found when exploring the deepest points of earth. The Wahoo is scientifically called Acanthocybium Solandri. It is considered a common sight between seasoned professionals because it occupies a large amount of water, but is most often sighted in tropical areas in the world. They travel in large groups, which makes capture quite easy for those who have garnered plenty of experience in this field.

When speaking of the Coryphaenidae species, the most popular is called the Mahi Mahi. Locals refer to it as the small dolphin because it belongs to the same family and somewhat resembles it in appearance. When fishing, a person will be able to identify it from its blue fins and a body color that appears to be a combination of blue and green.

The White Marlin is a popular breed and is native to tropical seas and oceans. People easily recognize it because it has mouth that is shaped much like a sword. Its color is typically a dark blue tone, or one that is a combination of brown and blue. Despite its popularity, it is difficult to catch because of its solitary nature and small travel groups. Females are larger than males and the largest one was measured to be fourteen feet.

The Tuna breed consist of many creatures and one of the biggest are Thunnus Albacares, or more popularly known as Yellowfin Tuna. Its average weight can reach up to four hundred pounds, which requires heavy equipment to catch the m. Furthermore, they are also known to swim as fast as forty five miles per hour, which makes it difficult for them to be caught.

Sphyaena Barracuda, or simply labeled as the Barracuda is another breed that is known for its large size and ray fins. Most people who have sighted it consider it to have a frightening appearance, due to its long and compressed body. Moreover, it has a ferocious and aggressive behavior, known for attacking humans upon contact or sight.

When going angling in the Indian Ocean, you will likely encounter the Sailfish. Scientifically, it is called the Istiophorus Platypterus and it known to weight up to a hundred kilograms. When speaking of its length, majority of adults are three meters long, while the especially large ones can go up to four meters. According to records, the oldest one ever caught was four years old.

A migratory breed of fish is the King Mackarel. Its home is in the Atlantic Ocean, but it continues to be spotted all in various locations because of its constant migration. When reaching its adult size, its average weight is about 40 kilograms.
