This Is The Nashville Canoe Trips Guide To Having Fun

By George Murphy

People travel the world to experience and see things that are not common in their place of birth. Adventurers want to try things that are out of their comfort zones and which will give them some sort of a rush. An adventure trip may consist of one or more of the following activities; bungee jumping, Nashville canoe trips, rock climbing and camping. These are the most common activities, there are many more activities which are classified into types of adventure travel.

Some adventurers enjoy consuming foreign traditional food and drinks. When they visit an area, they want to eat the type of food the locals of that area normally eat. For example, in some parts of Africa people eat mopani worms, an American tourist may visit the areas just to eat that meal. This is called culinary tourism. Others find pleasure in knowing about other country's culture, they go there to see how citizens live, learn their history, admire their arts and architects. Sometimes they even take part in those cultural activities.

Tourists are not allowed in some areas for some reasons, the most adventurous tourists like breaking these rules. They want to see what exactly is hidden in the area if there is anything at all; some just enjoy the thrill of being the first to enter prohibited areas. It is a dangerous adventure since some tourists get arrested for breaking the law while others get fined.

Others enjoy visiting jungles to observe and live the culture and take part in activities in the area. This is called jungle tourism and it is almost the same as a normal adventure travel. Common activities are jungle walking and kayaking. There's also extreme tourism, this involves going to places and/or partaking in activities that are extremely dangerous.

Disaster tourists enjoy the adventure of being in an evacuated area and experiencing the adrenalin rush caused by a dangerous disaster. They can go to a place while it's being hit by an earthquake, volcanic eruption or another disaster that other people evacuate from. They do all these for fun. They are at a risk of getting injured or losing their lives while on these trips, rescue teams often hate the fact that they have to rescue someone who got themselves intentionally in a dangerous area.

Most of these occasions don't last that long, but, over-landing can last for months. Over-landing is another type of adventure travel which involves taking a long trip through out a country with a bus or a truck; sometimes the tourists can even cross countries during this type of trip.

The last to be discussed is ecotourism; it involves travelling to areas which are focused with sustainability of the environment and well-being of the citizens. The travellers will take part in activities which promote awareness and education about sustainability.

Being disabled should not stop an adventurous person from taking adventure trips. Adventure holiday destinations like the Safari are now accommodating disabled people and want to give them the same experience a non-disabled adventurer gets. A page called the Wilderness Inquiry has a lot of information about this for disabled people.
